          General Class Schedule

7:45 – 8:30:     Calendar, Accelerated Reader

8:30 – 9:30:     Reading

9:30 – 10:15:   Spelling/Phonics

10:15 – 11:00: Special classes (art, music, computer lab, library, P.E.)

11:05 – 11:35: Lunch

11:45 – 12:15: Language Arts/Writing

12:15 – 12:45: Science/Social Studies

12:45 – 12:55: Buy snack

12:55 – 1:25:   Recess

1:30 – 2:30:     Math

2:30- 2:40:       Review

2:50:  Car riders

2:55:  1^st load

3:10:  2^nd load

3:15:  Last load/Boys and Girls Club

                                          Student’s work

Your child has a “Daily Folder” that he/she should bring home every night.  This folder contains a weekly homework calendar.  Please make sure your child completes all assignments given each day and returns the folder to school every day.  This folder may also contain notes from me or correspondence from the school.

I send home a “Friday Folder” every Friday, which contains your child’s work for that week.  Please sign the sheet provided inside the folder and have your child return this folder every Monday. 

                Attendance

In order to get the most benefit from school, students need to be here everyday, on time, and stay all day.  School starts at 7:45 A.M.  If your child arrives after 8:00 A.M., he/she must go to the office to sign in.  Keep in mind that tardies and early sign outs accumulate to missed school days.  If for any reason your child is absent for more than one day, please make arrangements to have his/her work picked up in order to avoid falling behind.

   I look forward to working with you throughout this year.  Please feel free to contact me (663-2520) if you have any questions or concerns.  I have a planning period each day from 10:15 A.M. – 11:00 A.M.  This would be the best time to reach me.
