Elementary Library

 In August 2007, the Scott County Director of Schools and School Board voted to once again have a library at Huntsville Elementary School. (Both Huntsville Elementary and Huntsville Middle were previously sharing one library.) Patricia Terry, who taught 4th grade at Huntsville Elementary for 26 years, was selected as the librarian. Now in its 3rd year, the library serves all students in grades Pre-K through 4th grade. The librarian reinforces reading skills and helps students meet their individual reading goals by providing books on each child's reading level. Students participate in several reading programs during the year such as Accelerated Reader, Book-It, and NEA's Read Across America. Please join us on our Family Reading Nights which are held monthly in our library.
